On Sunday our club welcomed 13 delegates from the City of Bunbury's sister city Setagaya, Japan who are in town to celebrate 25 years of the sister city relationship. Delegates received a tour of the club and life-saving demonstrations. Meanwhile, our nippers messed up the sand with flags, beach sprints and other games, with some of the older kids venturing out into a very messy surf break.

It was also wonderful to see the general public also getting involved and helping out - Thank You! An amazing event run entirely by volunteers. To our event sponsors Hit Southwest, Alcoa, Koombana Physiotherapy, Aqwest, Retravision, South West Development Commission, City of Bunbury, Cristal, Totally Sound, Woolworths, Traffic Force, Good Earth Surf Shop, Three Water Cruises, Eaton Community Pharmacy, Ocean 205 & Freeman Aerial Services. More exciting news! πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰ Our fundraising success continues for our building and infrastructure program. PEACH (Personnel Employed at Alcoa Charity Help) have made a very generous donation towards the supply of our "pass through dishwasher" and commercial grade oven for our up and coming kitchen fit out. PEACH is a program funded entirely by contributions from Alcoa employees which makes this contribution even more heartfelt. Thank you to all the Alcoa employees who contribute to this community program that is so greatly appreciated by ourselves and I am sure all the other community beneficiaries.
